What it is
Chemical peels exfoliate the top layer of skin (epidermis) revealing brighter, more even skin underneath. With time, collagen and elastin growth are stimulated, improving skin tone and texture. Red Carpet Peel and Clarity Peel are light peels, which yield bright glowing skin with minimal downtime. VIPeel is a deeper peel, which results in bright, radiant skin after 7 days.
How long it takes
The procedure itself takes about 30 minutes. Please allow a little more time in the office, though, as a medical history and photographs are taken.
Expected down time
For a light peel (Red Carpet Peel, Acne Peel): None. Patients can go back to work and life right after treatment.
For VIPeel, you will see some peeling days 3-7 after the peel.
When will I look amazing?
You will see immediate results such as brightening upon leaving the office. Collagen remodeling will take longer and will be noticeable after several treatments.
