What it is
Microneedling is performed on the scalp (after numbing!) to create small channels in the skin. This increases blood flow to the scalp and hair follicles, turning on dormant hair follicles. To support these changes at home, a daily hair serum, oral supplements, and a red light cap are included in the treatment protocol.
How long it takes
The procedure itself takes about 30 minutes. However, numbing time of 45 minutes is recommended. Please allow a little more time in the office, though, as a medical history and photographs are taken.
Expected down time
Zero to 24 hours. Hair may be crusty when the serum dries, and it is not recommended to wash hair for 24 hours after procedure. You may wear a loose fitting baseball cap.
When will I look amazing?
You will see some improvement after 1 month, but most noticeable improvement will be after 3-6 months.
